ABOUT THE MONROE SCHOLARSHIP FUND, INC.
 ince its inception,
the Monroe Scholarship Fund, Inc. has assisted over 700 students with their higher education
expenses. Established in 1958, by the new Masuk High School PTA, the fund was known as the Masuk
Scholarship Fund. When the Masuk PTA disbanded, the Monroe Scholarship Fund was
incorporated as a 503c(3) non-profit organization.
 ver the years,
the Fund has grown thanks to the generosity of individual and corporate donors.
The Board of Directors, assisted by volunteers, sponsor an annual fund
drive. Recently, our fundraisers have included Casino Bus Trips and a Silent Auction.
The fund is administered by public-spirited volunteers who are interested in helping students
and parents meet the rising costs of higher education. Meetings are held monthly from September
to May. New members are always welcome. For specific meeting dates contact
